The Missouri Water Environment Association awarded Microfinish the 2021 Gold Award for our superior commitment to clean water as part of industrial wastewater pretreatment. Industrial water pollution is an important issue to environmental authorities in the U.S. Environmental laws at all level of government mandate every industrial and municipal authority to treat their wastewater before disposal.
Industrial pretreatment is significant because pollutants from industrial wastewater can easily seep into the soil and contaminate public supplies causing potential environmental hazards. Industrial water pretreatment consists of the removal of conventional and toxic pollutants from industrial wastewater before discharge into a sewer system managed by publicly owned water treatment facilities.
